Vicky has been in Shanghai since 2004 when she was appointed as the China Chief Representative of CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants). She was then promoted to the Country Director. In 2011, she took up the role of Regional Director, North Asia covering markets include mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Mongolia, South Korea and Japan etc. In 2016 she was appointed as the regional VP, North Asia, the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants.
She worked with the leading companies at both international and local levels to complete the research reports on Enterprise Governance and the Finance Shared Service Industry of China etc.. During 2015-2016, she teamed up with the NAACC (National Accounting Assessment & Certification Centre, Ministry of Finance, China), SNAI (Shanghai National Accounting Institute), CACFO (Chinese Association of CFOs) and CICPA (Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants) to publish Chinese-English Management Accounting Terminology, Chinese Management Accounting Competency Framework, and Management Accounting Essential Tools (English-Chinese Edition) respectively. Vicky was elected to be a member of the Executive Committee, BritCham. She was also a leading judge and advisor for the British Business Awards, the Annual Chinese CFO Awards and the Best Employer Awards. From 2014, she was appointed as the advisor of MPAcc (Master in Professional Accounting) program, Antai College of Economics & Management, Shanghai Jiaotong University. She is also a TV commentator for the well-known business programs including Boss Town, Brainstorm and Unlocking Finance Intelligence etc.
She is a FCMA and CGMA. She was granted the EMBA from the China Europe International Business School and MA in International Political Economy from the University of Birmingham, UK.
